Yeadon Dam – 1982

The following six photographs: We have seen images from times past when skating took place but these rare photos are from 1982 when the Tarn froze solid! Adults and children made the most of the opportunity to skate, toboggan, walk and play, enjoying the frozen lake to the full.

Donated by Philip Archdale.
