Lancelot Routh and his team seated outside the new Yeadon and Guiseley Secondary School, the company were paid £436. 10s for plastering the building.

The ceremonial first sod had been cut in October 1908, the foundation stone laid on May 6th 1909.

Contractors for the building were Huby Brothers, the masons cost £5,336.6s, the school opened in 1910. The name of the school was changed to Aireborough Grammar in 1937.

c1948 sitting on the Routh’s plasterers wagon are L to R George rocket , Phil Myers and Phil Routh.
Phil and Tom Routh were my Great Uncles.
Pictures: FF049, FF050 and FF051, the location is No: 23 football, Yeadon, that’s the house being rendered, it is next to 25 Football which has the fancy stone window frames and belonged to Phil/ Tom Routh, the Yeadon Plastering company.
you can check on google as the outside of the houses look the same.
