Comment This is the junction of Oxford Road and Otley Road. The Station Hotel is on the left. Almost central is the bridge over the railway line. The building with the tower was the offices of the Guiseley and Yeadon Coal Company.

Oxford Circus – c1950

On the left is the Station Inn, next is the junction of Oxford Road and Otley Road, this junction was known as Oxford Circus.
There is now a system of traffic lights here to control the heavy volume of traffic, then a series of Belisha Beacons warned drivers and pedestrians to take care.
At the right edge is the junction with Victoria Road. The view is looking in the direction of Greenbottom.
