Comment | General Election day in 1910, a Liberal government was already in power, Henry Herbert Asquith retained his position as Prime Minister when the Liberals again had a majority in Parliament. Outside Yeadon Liberal Club are a contingent of men, a few women and a large number of children. The building is festooned with posters and slogans such as “Tariff Reform will tax poor men’s cupboards to save rich men’s pockets” abound. In the windows are notices “Duncan’s Committee Rooms”. On the back of the image is written “This is now a frozen food shop” |

Yeadon Town Hall used as a polling station for the 2015 General Election and local council election. Candidate Stuart Andrew was returned as Conservative MP for Pudsey, Horsforth & Aireborough and Greg Mulholland returned as Liberal MP for Leeds North West.
