Formerly Guiseley Town Hall, this is the crest of Sir Matthew William Thompson which is located above the main entrance.

Above the main entrance to the theatre, this is the coat of arms of Sir Matthew William Thompson.

He generously paid for the building of what was then the Town Hall. The sheaf of corn or barley represents the family brewing business.
