Comment | Aireborough Council owned these properties which were scheduled for demolition, however, Victoria Terrace was improved and remains. Only New Row was demolished. New Row was in front of Victoria Terrace and was demolished in the early 1950’s to make way for the building of the Frank Parkinson bungalows (which were opened in 1953), as was part of Lands Lane. I spent many happy hours on Victoria Terrace in the late 40s/early 50s.
