Location Guiseley

Comment The company was established in 1977 by Patrick (Tom) Brady as a sales arm to a sister company Portsmouth Surgical Equipment Ltd, which manufactured patient trollies and stainless steel theatre furniture. The company has grown it’s product lines and is now (July 2014) an established medical technology company who designs, manufactures and supplies operating theatre equipment to hospitals in the UK and overseas. From 1979 the company was based in a small space at the back of what was Sparky’s Video shop on Queensway, then moving to the old Salvation Army Citadel / WW11 food kitchen on Wells Road in 1984. In 1993 the untimely passing of Patrick Brady was a huge loss to the company, the staff and client base, he is still sorely missed. Andrew Curtin took over, he had joined the business in 1983. Due to the growth of the company it was moved again in 2000 to occupy the then vacant Denso site on Queensway, now, due to increasing staff numbers and the need to expand office space Anetic Aid has purchased a site on the new Buck Lane development in Baildon. The move is planned for late 2014/ early 2015, the current site has been bought by Stonebridge, 14 homes will be built on the site. Donated by Mark Lee.
