Eddie Mercer was my great uncle but sadly I didn’t discover this until after he had died. I am so pleased to see a photo of him as the one I have is very old ! If anyone has any further info about him or the Mercers I’d be delighted. Thanks.

I was a regular user of Ledgard’s bus Service in my early teens and remember Peggy well. Always bright and cheery in full uniform, with badge and ticket machine. Peggy was a regular on the West Chevin run to Otley.
