Ben Brown’s Greengrocer – Undated
Ben Browns greengrocer’s shop was on the High Street next to the Liberal Club. This is a faint image, boxes of fruit and vegetables are displayed on the pavement. The men have been named, on the left is Alex Pearsons, next Billy Dawson. Ben Brown is wearing a white overall and is standing next to a giant hand of bananas, he had paper bags printed with the slogan “Ben Brown has big bananas”. On the right edge is ? Luty.
