Abraham Waterworth is the father, born 1852 in Yeadon, his wife was Sarah Jane nee Womersley, born 1856 in Yeadon. She is holding baby boy Rowan Womersley, born 1893, his sister Blanche was born in 1888 she would marry Harold Harrison, son of “Tinner” Harrison. Front right is Arthur Waterworth born 1886, on his right is Samuel Merrit Waterworth born 1885. The 3 older boys were George Womack Waterworth born 1881, Alderman Waterworth born 1878 and Edward Waterworth born 1875, the donor of this photo Ken Roberts was unable to say which boy was which.
There were a further 2 children in the family, Ernest Ethelbert Waterworth, born 1880 and died 1881 and Grace Ann who was born in 1895 after this photo was taken.
The family lived at Green Lane Top, there were still Waterworth’s there in the 1940s. They were all mill workers but it is not known which mill (s) they worked in.
