Looking between the gap in the far distance I can perhaps see the Town Hall, this would then make it the Old Dog Mill before the fire -pre 1906, at the bottom of Well Hill. I know that there were two rows of cottages, Miry Lane and Mill Lane (1841 census). They are no longer there but the road exists between the back of the old Temperance Hall and the Westfield Mill buildings, now Homebase..
