This was the 8th Chit Chat, over the last 2 years Aireborough Historical Society has held 4 each year.
Always popular events showing about 100 photos each time which means 800 photos have been seen.
Projected in large format onto the wall of the Methodist Church Hall in Yeadon.
There is no charge, it is a free event to share AHS photos with the people of Aireborough and interested parties.

AHS in the Community – 2018
In the spring of 2018, Elaine Ellwood became President of Aireborough Historical Society, this was when Elaine and the committee decided to purchase a gazebo. One that would stand out at outdoor events, and encourage the public to stop at our gazebo and find out what Aireborough Historical Society is all about and maybe become a member. Parkinson Park, Childrens Gala – 2018
One of the many outdoor events we attended with our AHS Gazebo, this was the children’s Gala always held on the first Sunday of September by the Friends of Parkinson park. Every year the AHS calendar goes on sale first at Parkinson Park Gala then into all our other sales outlets. The AHS President Elaine Ellwood in the gazebo with a photographic display of “Children at play in Aireborough” the public were asked to come & find themselves on the many photos & claim a prize. The 2019 calendar and some AHS merchandise like mugs, place mats etc, were on sale.

AHS National Heritage Day – 2018
The AHS President Elaine Ellwood along with previous President the late Gerald Long, greeting the Lord Mayor (Cllr Graham Latty) and Lady Mayoress ( Cllr Pat Latty) who came to open the the AHS 2018 National Heritage Day Event. The event was a tribute to the many folk of Aireborough who gave their lives, suffered injury or coped on the Home Front during WWI.
