J.B. Clabour was on Oxford Road in Guiseley opposite Oxford Road garage behind the old Register Office, worked in the building for 20 years when it was Sunspring.

John Holmes
That was always Sunspring in my day. Can’t remember what they made though.

Steve Preston

I think there was a Traction Engine maker in Guiseley too. Early 20th century.

Roland Brindley
There was a steam and traction engine maker on Bradford Road near the White Cross pub, further on from Arnold G. Wilson and next to what became a horse trailer supplier. In later years they made some very early single cylinder oil engined tractors.

Jim Lockwood
The old traction engines were manufactured where Farnell’s garage is sited near the White Cross.
