Comment Once the home of members of the Peate family including Noel Peate and also Dr. Alec Muschamp and his sisters. The building was demolished and it is now the site of Ghyll Royd Nursing home.(March 2013)

4 Ghyll Royd, Guiseley. A small street of Edwardian villas which were built by the Peate family for senior workpeople at the adjacent Nunroyd Mill.
The stone wall on the right separates the street from Otley Road.

Edwardian villas built by the Peate family to accommodate the white collar employees of Nunroyd Mill which was to the left of the street.
West Side Retail Park is now on the site of Nunroyd Mill (December 2015).

That’s my mother & fathers house. I do believe that’s my dad’s old Triumph Dolomite parked outside.
