This couple were Charles Edward Teale and Nellie Rogers, we don’t have a location of any other information about this photograph, just their names and the date written on the back. Michael Rhodes: Charles Edward Teale (born Rawdon, 1891) married Helen Annie (known as Nellie) Rogers in Wharfedale district in Jan-March 1917. Charles died in the Wharfedale district in March, 1956. Helen Teale (born 1892), died in Bradford in Sept, 1955. In 1911, Charles, a milk dealer, was living at Wells House, Guiseley. Son of Hiram Murgatroyd Teale (b 1860c, at Rawdon) and his wife Sarah (b 1859, Bradford). Helen Teale (nee Rogers), was born at Bolton Abbey, daughter of William Isaac Rogers by his wife, Ada. In 1911 the Rogers family dwelled at 9 Birklands, Guiseley, Nellie was a schoolteacher. |
