Two images of the yard behind Rigg’s butchers shop on Harrogate Road, the family had several shops which they supplied with pork pies and cooked meats from a bakehouse in the yard, they also had an abattoir here. One of the Rigg family is seen here, in the background is the rear of the Temperance Hall, later Rawdon Empire cinema.
