Leeds Co-operative Stores 1928

Title Leeds Co-operative Store
Date 1928
Location Yeadon

Comment This branch of the Leeds Industrial Cooperative Society was on Town Hall Square, built after the alterations to the square in 1928. In the right window a notice exhorts people to “Eat more Salmon – Buy a half pound tin – Do it Now!” In 1967 the building was converted into a library opening in 1968.
