Comment Yeadon and District Ladies Choir, a note on the image implies that the choir had sung for a radio program.

Additional Research

The choir did sing on a radio programme and specifically on Friday 28th September 1934 from 7:30 to 8:00. Eva Howarth was the conductor, and the recital was part of the North Regional listing in the Radio Times. In the half hour nine songs were sung, including Elgar and Brahms pieces. A further listing is given for Monday 24th May 1937, another half hour contribution from 6:00 and another nine songs with Brahms, German and Holst feature.
