Benton Terrace was situated on Green Lane, a terrace of stone built houses. A sign on the right for Walter G Birch Builders Ltd of Harrogate. On the left part of JCT 600 garage can be seen.

It was demolished in 1971 and the new Rawdon Fire Station was built on the land.

The terrace was demolished to allow the roundabout to be built. The new fire station is built where the old Rawdon Co-op slaughterhouse was, which is where the builders sign is.
