Comment The British Census of 1881 gives the following information: Mary Ryder, Widow, Aged 59, Born Otley, Bookseller and Stationer. Sarah Ryder, Daughter, Aged 30, Born Yeadon, Dressmaker Unmarried. Mary E Ryder, Daughter, Aged 28, Born Yeadon, Dressmaker Unmarried. John W Ryder, Son, Aged 25, Born Yeadon, Railway Clerk Unmarried. In 1906, the shop premises are listed as High Street, Yeadon and are thought to be opposite Marshall Street where the Post Office is now sited (February 2014)
