Home of Benjamin Hollings, services for the Primitive Methodists were held here in the 1830s before the first chapel was built in 1843.

Bingley Lands was off Lands Lane on the site now occupied by the Frank Parkinson Homes.

interesting pic of Bingley Lands. The bricked up house on was number 38 where we lived – Eileen Bolton (mam), Mavis, Janet, Hazel, George, Roy, about 1957-58. I think Derek Anderson took the photo.
