Standing on the steps of house on Brooklands Crescent are a group of children who belonged to the Rhodes family, they were called Marjorie, Enid, Harry, Joyce, Mary, Kathleen and Anne Rhodes.

Ann Ashcroft nee Rhodes working at Hepworth & Grandage, Yeadon. She also worked at the Meadow Dairy on the High Street and can remember the death of King George V being proclaimed from the steps of Yeadon Town Hall.
