St. Bartholomew’s Church

This small church was originally built as a school and schoolhouse, it is now a private house.

The Lodge

Situated in East Carlton, this house was designed by architects Chorley, Gribbon and Foggitt of 3 Park Place Leeds.

Yorkgate Wood

This photo shows a man strolling down a path in Yorkgate Wood. The wood was planted in the mid 1800s by John Hustler.

Carlton is a mainly farming community in the northern part of Aireborough.
