Oxford Circus – c1950

On the left is the Station Inn, next is the junction of Oxford Road and Otley Road, this junction was known as Oxford Circus.
There is now a system of traffic lights here to control the heavy volume of traffic, then a series of Belisha Beacons warned drivers and pedestrians to take care.
At the right edge is the junction with Victoria Road. The view is looking in the direction of Greenbottom.
