Prefabs, known as MAP (Ministry of Procurement) Houses on Shakespeare Close with Nunroyd Avenue to the right. This type of housing were mainly for the workers drafted in to work at the AVRO Factory during WW2. They lasted well into the 50s and 60s. The site is now occupied by bungalows for the elderly.
