In 1926 the foundation stone for a new Sunday School rooms was laid.  Members of the church were invited to sponsor a brick which would become part of the foyer.  When the building was demolished if possible bricks were returned to the families concerned.  This brick was paid for by Kathleen Hardwick, mother of John Wheatley who donated the photograph.  Morrison’s store was built partly on the site of the demolished rooms.

Albert Lawson was my great grand uncle and in 1887, he married Linnie Laura Penny, he was a draper, his wife died in 1935 and then in 1938 he married Fanny Bickley nee Dickin a widow. A wonderful photo that I have never seen before. Thank you for posting it.
