On the left is Noah Preston, next his father Tom Preston. Tom’s children were: Alice Town (nee Preston) she was the elder daughter and lived on Westfield Grove. Joe Preston of Swain Hill, the elder son. Noah Preston of Henshaw Avenue Yeadon, the younger son. Millie Triffit (Nee Preston) of Moorland Crescent, Guiseley, the younger daughter. Tom Preston was the maternal grandfather of the donor of the image Brian Triffit, his mother was Millie Triffit.|

One of Tom’s brothers was Raymond Preston, the Yeadon evangelist preacher.
Tom would say of him “If our Raymond can’t sup his ale then he’s no brother of mine”.
