Coach Road

This was the site of a lodge house at the entrance of the Coach Road to Esholt Hall.

Commercial Inn

The Commercial Inn is located on Main Street, it was featured in the serial “Emmerdale” and named the ‘Woolpack’.

Esholt Bridge

Called “Jenny’s Gate”, this gateway was the West entrance to Esholt Hall,

Herries, Mr & Mrs – c1800s

Mr Herbert Herries was a barrister and a nephew of Caroline Rachel Ore.

Hesp William – 1912

A horse and cart, holding the reins is William Hesp.

Home Farm

Home Farm is adjacent to Esholt Hall.

Today Esholt is famous the pub used in Emmerdale “The Woolpack” but it has a rich history long before the TV soap discovered it.
