Undated This cottage on Over Lane is thought to have been the home of Richard Hogg, a local builder.
He was responsible for the construction of Yeadon Town Hall, remarkable as it is reputed that he could not read or write.

Following a request on our facebook page to see if anyone could identify the photo of cottages in Aireborough, following a massive response accurately located the cottages to those of Richard Hogg on Over Lane, which links in nicely to this page.

1908/1912: Items donated by Janet Kelly, she is the great great niece of Richard Hogg who built Yeadon Town Hall, these documents are relevant to Richard Hogg (1865 – 1933) who was the nephew of the builder. His occupation was as a carrier, the papers concern the building of a stable for his work horses.
