Our weekend this year (2001) May 4thy – 7th, was spent at the George and Abbotsford Hotel, Melrose. The weather was beautiful. Visits and tours at Floors Castle, HMS Britannia and guided tours of Traquair House followed by a light lunch (cost 158.00 inclusive of all visits) Before our journey home we travelled with Kevin Jackson (Local Coach Operator). Everyone enjoyed the time spent in the beautiful Borders.
