The location is unknown for this early photo showing the troop in the regulation uniform of khaki shirt, shorts and wide brimmed hat, complete with neckerchief held in place with a woggle and a lanyard.

The following two images of Guides and Brownies in the garden of Hopeville House, images taken on glass slides by Ernest E Slater who owned the house. Taken after 1914 when the Brownies were suggested by Baden Powell, they were possibly attached to Queen Street Methodist Chapel where Slater was a trustee.

The scouts were on holiday at Robin Hoods Bay, the photo was taken at Fylingdales on the North Yorkshire Moors. Names have been noted, on the back row were\\; Jim Taylor, Philip Briggs, Horrie Greaves, Eric Cowley, Willie (Jim) Lawrie, Roy Ingham, Ken Wilcocks, Albert Everson, John Hill.
On the front row were: John Briggs, ? Chadwick, Brian Chadwick, George Lawrie, Michael Briggs.
