Open green hillside known as Yeadon Banks which has been saved from development, it’s status as a town green has been confirmed after an 8 year campaign to prevent housing being constructed in this area.(2021) Westfield Junior school is in the foreground.

Ah happy days especially in winter sledging down the banks. Lots of fun. How times have changed from the late 1960s to the mid 1970s kids want to sit with computers or mobiles!
