Nunroyd House was in Guiseley when I lived in Tennyson Street, Nunroyd Estate in the 1940s. Our bungalow backed on to a field which ran down to a copse with a pathway and stream running through it. This had been part of Nunroyd House gardens at one time and the local children spent many happy hours playing there.
