My grandma and her husband (Alice and Charles Yeadon) lived in one of these in the 1960s. They were one up and down houses with a scullery and outside toilet. I have fond memories of toasting crumpets on the range in the room downstairs but the outside loo was full of spiders!

One of my school mates Donald Hardcastle lived in the top house on Walkers Row so I used to go there to play with him in the 1930s
