John William Malthouse Myers, but in most documents registered as Malthouse Myers. (Malthouse was his mother’s maiden name).
He was born in 1866 in Yeadon and married Sarah Jane Teale in 1892.
Aged fourteen he was working in the woollen industry, an occupation undertaken for at least twenty years. He then became a “milk dealer.”
He died on 15th December 1929, whilst living at “Overdale” on Rufford Park.
