On the back of the image is the following message:
“Swiss Cottage, Rufford Park, Yeadon, Sept. 16th
Dear Frank, we began school this morning and went to our new classrooms straight away. The hours of school have been altered. In the morning the hours are from 9-12.15 and in the afternoon from 2 (instead of 1.45) to 4. We have got a new gym master, and he is all right. He teaches in cricket flannels and he took us this morning. From your friend Arthur”
It is addressed to F Whitaker staying in Scarborough.
The stamp on the card is franked with the date 16 Sep 20.

I grew up at No: 14 which I thought was maybe next door. We moved in, in 1957 but I think we were number 2 originally then the numbers changed due to building developments. Certainly remember the Binns’ family name though.
