These 120 year old moss covered steps were originally in the garden of Hopeville House and can be seen in old photos. They are now located in the garden of a bungalow on Rufford Avenue, the steps haven’t moved but the site has been altered.

The view across the field was Wellfields and was where we used to sledge in the 30s. It is now Benton Park Avenue leading from the Stone Trough to Rufford Avenue.
