Croft Head

Situated on Town Street, this was once a barn at Croft farm. This is the west side, it is now converted into a residential property.

Crompton Parkinson Site, 1938 – 2005

This was the site of the Crompton Parkinson works, cleared for the building of the Edison Fields estate. Photographer Charles North.

Cross Street

Cross Street was off Park Road opposite what was Chloride Shires factory and is now a retail park.

Dairy Crest Queensway

Dairy Crest building, planning consent was given on 25th October 2013 for the dairy to be demolished and 7 houses built on the site.

Drill Hall

Situated on Victoria Road, the former drill hall which is now converted into apartments (February 2013).

Edison Fields

Homes built on the site of Crompton Parkinson factory, off Netherfield Road, streets include Thomas Drive and Edison Way.

Eldon Mount

Eldon Mount is located at the end of Wells Road, there is also access from Oxford Road.

Fairy Dell

This area was known as Fairy Dell, the view is looking towards Menston.
